Christian Eriksen (Tottenham)
Eriksen made it clear he wanted to leave the club in the summer and has refused to sign a new contract. He was linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United but now it seems a transfer to Madrid could be possible.
The Dane will be a free agent next summer and Tottenham may decide to cash in when the January transfer window opens rather than stick with an unsettled player.
Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham)
Vertonghen is on a one-year extension at the Spurs but it’s likely the player will move away in the summer.
However, the player himself insists he still has “ a couple of good years” left at the highest level and hinted he could yet sign a new contract at Tottenham.
Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham)
Like Vertonghen, another Spurs star Toby Alderweireld is also on a one-year extension at the club.
During the summer transfer window, Alderweireld has been on Manchester United’s radar. It was incredible that no team went for Alderweireld when he was available for £25m, but now Spurs have a similar issue with the pair to solve.
Nemanja Matic (Manchester United)
Nemanja Matic did not get his move to Italy this summer because Manchester United were holding out for more money. Matic was the subject of bids from both AC Milan and Inter Milan but no deal was agreed.
Matic could be on his way out of the club in the next summer when his contract expires.
David Silva (Manchester City)
David Silva, the veteran midfielder set to leave the club at the end of the season. Silva confirmed before the start of the season that the 2019/20 campaign will be his last with the Premier League champions, ending a nine-year spell in England.
Now aged 33, Silva is captain at City, with whom he has made over 400 appearances and scored 70 goals. He has won the Premier League and League Cup four times as well as two FA Cups and Community Shields.
