Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns reveals how Giannis Antetokounmpo helped him

Karl-Anthony Towns has revealed how Giannis Antetokounmpo helped him when he lost his mom to COVID-19. The Milwaukee Bucks' star has been through something similar, losing his own father as a player back in 2017. Chris Hine of the Star Tribune reveals that over the last year Antetokounmpo has talked with Towns to try and help as he himself had to deal with the loss of a parent while still balancing his NBA career. “I don’t think he gets enough publicly how much of a man he is, but I’ll say it for him, even though I know he won’t,” Towns said of Bucks’ Antetokounmpo. “I appreciate him and the way he’s reached out to me during my time. We really built a friendship there. I’m really appreciative of him and the amount of care he’s put into me and my family.” Source- ClutchPoints Follow us on Twitter!
