Tim Sherwood claims Tottenham's "most improved" player in his position "cannot get a kick" now

Tim Sherwood thinks Tottenham’s "most improved" midfielder last season Giovani Lo Celso "cannot get a kick" now. The 24-year-old has recently found his playing time limited at the North London club due to his injuries. However, Sherwood points out another reason why Jose Mourinho isn’t picking him for the first team action. “Lo Celso, at the back end of last season, was the most improved midfielder Tottenham had,” he told Sky Sports. “And I really enjoyed watching him play. “He cannot get a kick of the football, at the moment because Jose doesn’t want to play that way. He’s relying on the front three to win him the game and the rest of the players behind have to be responsible and defensive. “At the moment, it’s working. Jose Mourinho saying there in his interview, ‘we are playing the best football and it’s ‘free [flowing]’. No, it’s not the best football. But they still attack. They still have a threat.”
