Three wingers Manchester City could sign if Leroy Sane leaves the club

Manchester City have faced the absence of Leroy Sane this season, with the midfielder being out of the game since August after suffering a serious injury. The 24-year-old has made his return at the end of February for the Under-23s. However, he remains at the center of speculations over his possible transfer. Recently Sane has been linked with the move to Germany champions Bayern Munich. He has also been targeted by Barcelona and Real Madrid. And now, as the Citizens are at risk of losing Sane during the summer transfer window, let's see who can be the possible replacements to the German professional.

Jadon Sancho

Sancho is considered to be one of the best youngster's in the world. The 19-year-old midfielder has left City in 2017 for Borussia Dortmund, where he has become a key player and enjoys the season, having already 17 goals and 19 assists in just 35 games. These stats only rival with Lionel Messi, who was the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to reach double figures in both. City will have to pay more than the £7million they sold Sancho to bring him back to Etihad.  However, City must be informed of any bids Dortmund receive for the winger and have the option to submit their own, according to the sale agreement. Jack Grealish

Aston Villa are under threat to leave the Premier League, as they are aitting on the 19th place of the league table in the relegation zone. However, the club wouldn't cope without their star Jack Grealish. The 24-year-old has played a key role in his boyhood club, pushing them back in the Premier League, when being relegated to the Championship. Though, Villans face the relegation zone this term again, Grealish has all chances to stay in the league, with a number of clubs having targeted him. Pep Guardiola is also a fan of the player. The City coach has shared his thoughts on him, saying: "He’s incredible. A top player. I’m happy he stayed in the Championship to defend his club when he could have gone. He’s an exceptional player, I didn't know him before I came here, he was playing in the Championship. Honestly, an exceptional player." Image Source: Getty Images

Mikel Oyarzabal

Real Sociedad's Mikel Oyazrzabal is regarded as one of the most talented wingers in Spain. He has shown excellent performances, having already netted 10 goals and assisted 7 times this season. He also helped his side to reach the Copa del Rey final, defeating Real Madrid. Oyazrzabal has already been linked with the move to Manchester City. However, the 22-year-old has revealed he has no intension to leave the club at this moment as he wants to improve his game. He told WhoScored: "I don’t pay attention at all to those rumours. I am focused in my work at la Real. I have never thought about [playing in another league]. I am very young, and I hope to have a long career. I don’t know what the future has prepared for me."
