Three Arsenal players set to miss Gunners' PL opening match v Brentford

Arsenal's Thomas Partey, Gabriel Magalhaes and Eddie Nketiah are set to miss the club's opening Premier League match against Brentford. The Gunners will face the Bees on Friday evening, while ahead of the clash the club have confirmed the trio will be out of action due to injury issues. Partey's absence has already been confirmed as that player suffered an ankle injury during the club's friendly match versus Chelsea and will return in a couple of weeks. Nketiah is also unavailable, with the player having picked up a knock against the Blues. Gabriel, meanwhile, has suffered a knee problem whilst away on Olympic duty. He is likely to be out of action for at least the next couple of weeks.
