Thomas Tuchel has admitted that the club are ‘talking regularly’ about Erling Haaland’s potential transfer.
Chelsea signed striker Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window, with many believing that the club will no longer share an interest in Borussia Dortmund star. The latter is one of the most wanted young attackers of his time.
However, when speaking about Haaland, Tuchel has not excluded the possibility of signing the Norwegian forward.
“We have talked about Haaland a couple of times also in the transfer window. It looked unrealistic and not possible to do,” he told SportBild.
“Of course we talk about regularly about him because he is a fantastic player and a profile at Dortmund, which is a big rival for us in the Champions League.”
When asked about the £64m striker’s move, Tuchel added: “Let us see what will happen the next weeks.”
