Olivier Giroud has named former Chelsea star Eden Hazard, as well as current Blues Mason Mount and Kai Havertz as the most talented player he’s ever played with.
The Frenchman is now playing for AC Milan in the Serie A, but he has not been short of a word or two about his former clubs in recent interviews over the last couple of weeks, his latest being with Tribal Football on Tuesday.
Giroud was asked who the most talented players he has ever played with are, and decided to put that question to him. The 35-year-old replied:
“One of the best players I played with at Arsenal was Santi Cazorla. And at Chelsea, Eden Hazard, and there were so many young talented players at Chelsea as well.
“Mason [Mount] and Kai Havertz, different class, different quality, and I’m looking forward to seeing them grow up and become top players.”
