Thiago Alcantara to receive dream shirt number at Liverpool

Thiago Alcantara could recieve his favoured shirt number if he joins Liverpool in the summer transfer window. Things appear to be falling into place for the Reds and the Bayern Munich star, with both parties equally keen to make a transfer happen over the next few months. Thiago presently wears the number six shirt at Bayern, which is occupied by centre-back Dejan Lovren at Liverpool. However, the Croatian is close to moving to Zenit Saint Petersburg, after being dropped to fourth choice at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp's side are holding out for £10million for Lovren, which would go someway to funding a transfer for Thiago. And Lovren's absence would mean the number six shirt is up for grabs. The midfielder is confident of a move to Liverpool, and recently even sold his house in Germany. But Bayern have confirmed that they are yet to receive an offer for Thiago. Source- Mirror
