Gary Lineker responds to Pep Guardiola's comments on Jordan Henderson FWA award

Gary Lineker has responded to Pep Guardiola's comments on Jordan Henderson FWA award. Henderson won the FWA Footballer of the Year award, beating the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and his teammates Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk. City boss reacted to the award's announcement, saying: "No no, it will be won by a Liverpool player. When we won the Premier Leagues it was won by a Liverpool player. When they win the Premier League I'm pretty sure they are going to win the player of the season, so this award is always for Liverpool." Lineker responded to Guardiola's comments. He took Twitter to share his thoughts: "Last season’s @theofficialfwa winner was Raheem Sterling." and then added in a separate tweet: "People who frequently see bias against their team are biased. There are no agendas to football awards, whether it's PFA or FWA. It's either hundreds of journalists or hundreds of footballers each casting a single vote of their preferred choice. To suggest otherwise is silly."
