"The truth is": Journalist claims one Liverpool star is "90%" likely to leave Anfield this summer

Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Georginio Wijnaldum's future at Liverpool. The Dutch professional has been linked with the move away from Anfield as he is nearing the end of his deal with the Reds. And amid the contract situation, Romano has claimed there’s a 90 per cent chance that the midfielder will exit the club this summer. “At the moment there is nothing agreed. Barcelona are changing everything. There is a new president, new board, let’s see with the manager. For sure the situation with Ronald Koeman will be key because Ronald Koeman is in love with Wijnaldum,” journalist said on the Here We Go Podcast. “They are talking with the agent, so we can say there is something. They are negotiating and Barcelona are so interested. But at the moment nothing is signed and done because they have to plan for the future, they have to understand about the position of Ronald Koeman and then they will decide on certain players.” “Apart from Eric Garcia, who we will talk about in the next minutes, but with Wijnaldum there is nothing agreed. The truth is that 90% I would say that Wijnaldum will leave Liverpool. Yes because there is no agreement at the moment, last bid was in December, and they didn’t find an agreement, so there are huge chances to see him out of the club.”
