The Athletic: Chelsea man close to joining Crystal Palace, set to have medical today

Crystal Palace are close to completing a permanent signing of Chelsea's Marc Guehi, according to The Athletic. The report claims that the Blues were reluctant to sell one of their academy players, however, Palace presented a proposal that the club "felt was too good to refuse". The 21-year-old defender will sign a five-year contract with the Eagles. He is set to have a medical today, journalists David Ornstein and Stuart James can reveal.
