Jan Vertonghen's blackeye was caused by Christian Eriksen, but it had nothing to do with the fake internet rumors on Belgian's having an affair with Eriksen's girlfriend. Both Eriksen and Vertonghen wrote twitter posts to deny the rumors. Dane called those news "Bulls***" while his teammate Vertonghen put emojis to show his sarcastic attitude towards the situation. And The Sun has reported that the blackeye's a result of a collision during the training session. An agent has told the media outlet: "It has been very difficult for both players." "They have been widely aware of the internet rumours of the supposed affair. "The irony is Vertonghen's black eye was caused by Christian Eriksen."
