Spotify CEO Daniel Ek still wants to push on with his takeover bid for Arsenal, despite being told by the club’s current owners that the club is not for sale.
Stan Kroenke
attempted to ward off any interest from Spotify co-founder Ek with a statement renewing their intentions to carry the club forward.
However, according to the
Telegraph, Ek is ready to battle Kroenke for control of the club. It is claimed that Ek is planning to table a mammoth bid in the next 10 days to persuade Kroenke to change his mind.
The Billionaire businessman has already won over Invincibles trio Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira to help get fans onside.
Ek is also keen to meet fans, and has promised to give them a say with the running of the club if he succeeds Kroenke.
