Solskjaer will draft in a dentist to check on his underperforming stars during pre-season: The Reason Why

Photo/SkySports Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is drafting in the Manchester United dentist early to check over his stars, according to The Sun. United finished in sixth-place of Premier League and will play in Europa League next season. The Norwegian boss is furious whit the way their season ended and wants a complete overhaul of the squad, with 15 players already released. An Old Trafford source said: “There is not much going on at Carrington at present with all the players off on holiday. The dentist is expected in during the first two days of testing. That’s going to be at the start of July, around the first week. A firm from Cheshire come and do the examinations and it is seen as a good window into general health and well-being.” What can dental check-ups show?
  • Studies show that people with gum disease are more likely to have heart disease
  • Dry mouth and tongue can lead to tooth decay and gum disease
  • Feeling stressed, anxious or depressed can cause grinding of the teeth
  • Sore mouth and teeth could be a sign of Anemia, which means your body doesn't have enough red blood cells
  • Thrush and HIV - white patches on tongue or inside of the cheek
  • Adults without teeth are more likely to have chronic kidney disease
