Manchester City are only in the hunt for TWO new players in the summer transfer window.
The Blues have been linked with several players but they have no intention of repeating the kind of big spend. Guardiola has revealed that he will make only two new signings this summer.
First of all, Guardiola’s side needs holding midfielder, with Fernandinho turning 34 last month and Ilkay Gundogan not yet committed to a new deal.
It is clear that 22-year-old Atletico Madrid star Rodri is their top target and the Blues appear willing to pay his £62million release clause, according to MEN.
There has been plenty of speculation about a new left back. The other position in which City are definitely seeking a new recruit is the centre back, following the departure of skipper Vincent Kompany.
Harry Maguire seems to be the number one target.
