Ian Wright has shared his full praise for Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, following his displays for Denmark national team at Euro 2020.
Former Arsenal star has been impressed by the Spurs man, who has been playing more creative role during his international duty.
“That team and the way that team has been steadily constructed, you heard tha manager saying that when he got there in 2016 he knew he had a solid outfit, and with them, they made sure to get those young players, the likes of Christian Eriksen was at Ajax when he was 18, Christensen went to Chelsea when he was 16, they wanted to get their top players at top clubs at a younger age, rather than getting them there at 23 or 25,” Wright said
“They are playing a real high-end standard of football, they’ve got so much quality just looking at Hojbjerg playing further forward in kind of a number 10 doing creative stuff with Damsgaard and then Dolberg up there doing unbelievable stuff and Delaney as well.”
