Barcelona could attempt to raise as much as €300m through player sales this summer as the club looks to fund a much talked about squad overhaul. It is suggested that as much as a third of that could come from selling Coutinho.
At the beginning of the season, Lionel Messi said that the club’s main objective this season was to bring home the Champions League for the first time in four years, after Real Madrid’s three in a row. However, Barcelona only won La Liga at a canter this season.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo are reporting that the seven players could be sold to free up funds this summer.
Philippe Coutinho left Anfield to complete his dream Barcelona move back in the January transfer window of 2018 for a whopping fee of 142 million but the deal just hasn’t worked out for either party.
Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG are all keen on to sign the Brazilian, but he’ll likely cost upwards of £100m.
