Juventus sealed eighth consecutive Serie A title in 2018/19 season with new star player Cristiano Ronaldo.  Napoli finished second and sealed Champions League place.

Atlanta finished third to secure a place in UCL for the first time in their history. The last club which earned a Champions League place were Inter Milan.

AC Milan and Roma earned places for Europa League football.

This was also the last season of Roma captain Daniele De Rossi, who left the team after 18 seasons, while long last playing Sergio Pellissier of Chievo, Andrea Barzagli of Juventus and Emiliano Moretti of Torino retired from professional football at the end of the season.

The best defender of this Serie A season was Torino’s 27-year-old Armando Izzo, who made 37 appearances for his club, scored 4 goals and created an assist.

Rodrigo De Paul of Udinese was the fifth player in the list of top assists. The 25-year-old scored nine goals and created eight assists in 36 Serie A games.

Atlanta star Alejandro Gomez, 31, played in 35 Serie A games and he scored seven goals in that games. Gomez made the most assists in the Serie A this season- 12.

Cristiano Ronaldo spent his first season at Serie A and of course, provided amazing stats. He scored 21 goals and created 8 assists in 31 games.

Duvan Zapata of Atalanta was one of the best players in Serie A.  Zapata scored 23 goals for his side and created seven assists in 37 games.

Top goal scorer of 2018/19 Serie A season is Fabio Quagllarella from Sampdoria.  He scored 26 goals and created eight assists.
