Manchester City stars Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero are in contention to return for Manchester City this weekend against Everton.
“[Aguero] did the last two training sessions, we did the last training session yesterday,” City boss Pep Guardiola said. “He has no pain. We are going to decide.”
On De Bruyne, Guardiola added: “Same as Sergio. No pain yesterday and we’ll see.”
John Stones came off with a knee injury against Hoffenheim and will be assessed before a decision on his involvement against Everton is made.
Guardiola's side will be without David Silva, who is sidelined with a hamstring problem, while Fernandinho remains a doubt with a thigh injury.
“Yesterday he was in treatment. Today he is in training,” Guardiola said.
“We train at 4 pm and we’ll see how they feel, when you have just 60 hours to recover between the games, we will see.”
