Mohamed Salah is currently on international duty with Egypt national team for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Liverpool forward, who scored in Egypt's 2-0 win over DR Congo, has broken his silence after international teammate Amr Warda was sent home from Egypt's Africa Cup of Nations campaign due to having sexually harassed a number of women on the internet.
Salah wrote on Twitter: "Women must be treated with the utmost respect. “No” means “no”. Those things are and must remain sacred. I also believe that many who make mistakes can change for the better and shouldn’t be sent straight to the guillotine, which is the easiest way out.
"We need to believe in second chances... we need to guide and educate. Shunning is not the answer."
