Senegal faced Cape Verde in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 and celebrated a 2-0 victory. Sadio Mane and Bamba Dieng scored for Senegal as they advanced to the quarter-finals. Before scoring his goal and giving Aliou Cissé's side a lead, Mane suffered a heavy head collision with Cape Verde goalkeeper.
