Blackburn Rovers welcomed Harvey Elliott ahead of their clash with Middlesbrough on Monday, January 24. Elliott spent the 2020/2021 season on loan at Rovers from Liverpool and made an impressive impact after featuring in 42 games in which he scored 7 goals and provided 11 assists. Due to COVID19, unfortunately, Rovers fans didn't get to witness Elliott in the stands. And so, the Reds youngster was invited to Ewood Park. Following Rovers' 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough, Elliott took to Instagram to share his thoughts. He wrote: "Special feeling to be back at Ewood Park last night topped off with a great win! Thank you for your incredible reception @rovers fans!👏🏼🔵⚪️."

The 18-year-old is currently recovering from a serious ankle injury.
