Romelu Lukaku could be forced towards the Manchester United exit this summer due to the incredible form of Marcus Rashford, according to Danny Murphy (via
Mirror).
The striker has only started once in the Premier League since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over Jose Mourinho.
Meanwhile. Rashford has been having a quite good season under Solskjaer, with having scored 6 goals in 10 games.
Rashford's goal rush has forced Lukaku into a more limited role, and ex-Liverpool and Fulham midfielder Murphy thinks that Lukaku could leave United when the transfer window opens in summer.
"I don’t think Lukaku will want to be a number two, he’ll want to be the main man somewhere," Murphy told talkSPORT.
"I think Rashford has become the main striker who plays in all the big games for Man United.
"And I don’t think Lukaku is going to sit around as Rashford’s understudy, I think he could go in the summer."
