Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has given Marina Granovskaia the green light to spend in excess of £150million on Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz and Declan Rice. The Blues have already spent £80m on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
Chelsea and Leicester City have agreed a £50million fee for Chilwell, according to
Express Sport. A five-year contract worth around £150,000-a-week has been tabled as the player is expected to have medicals over the weekends.
If everything goes as planned, Chilwell will become the Blues' 3rd signing. The fourth signing for Chelsea could be Kai Havertz, who has been long linked with the Blues. Havertz is likely to be pricier than Chilwell, as the Bundesliga side are demanding around £90m for the youngster.
And once the Blues also sign Havertz, they will turn their attention to West Ham's Declan Rice. The Hammers are believed to be demanding up to £80m for the 21-year-old.
And according to
Football Insider Abramovich has given club chiefs green light to spend more than £50m on each player.
