Chelsea are in advanced negotiations with Thiago Silva: Havertz and Chilwell also close in on signing with the Blues

  Chelsea could soon announce three new players. According to the latest inside, provided by Fabrizio Romano, Blues are negotiating with Thiago Silva, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell.  Romano wrote on twitter: “Ben Chilwell deal to be completed on next days. He’s always been the main target as LB. Last details then here-we-go soon. Thiago Silva talks on (final answer on next week). Havertz: Chelsea are negotiating with Bayer and now’re preparing a new bid.”

According to the latest reports, Silva had also negotiations with Fiorentina, but it seems the West London side provided better terms for the Paris Saint-Germain captain, who will become a free agent after the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.  With Havertz, the price is the issue. Leverkusen wants 90 mln, Chelsea offered 80. The player wants to join Chelsea as he liked Frank Lampard’s project.  With Chilwell, everything is on a more advanced level. Chelsea were the best initiative for the England international. Despite the rumors suggesting that Manchester United are also in the race for the player, the Blues had the competitive advantage.
