Belgium national team coach Roberto Martinez has praised Manchester City attacker Kevin De Bruyne after the 28-year-old scored a goal in Belgium’s 4-0 win over Scotland.
“He has started off fresh this season and you can clearly see his exceptional qualities. To me, he is the best playmaker in the world,” said Martinez.
“Playmakers usually stop to deliver, but he can execute those deliveries there while he is on the move.
“He is healthy, takes a lot of responsibility, and he has a very important role.”
Currently Belgium national team are 1st in Group I with 18 points as they have won 6 out of 6 possible games so far.
