REVEALED: UEFA Defender of the Year; Liverpool takes another award

Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk has become UEFA defender of the year. Sergio Ramos, Kalidou Koulibaly, Toby Alderweireld, Giorgio Chiellini, Jan Vertonghen, Gerard Pique, Andy Robertson, Vigil van Dijk, Matthijs de Ligt and Trent Alexander-Arnold have all been nominated for the award. However, only Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk and De Ligt made the shortlist.
