REVEALED: Club emerge as front-runners for stunning €120million Liverpool transfer raid

Real Madrid are reportedly chasing the €120million transfer of Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk as a long-term replacement for Sergio Ramos, according to Don Balon. The Spanish giants will offer Liverpool the chance to sign one of Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Isco or Marco Asensio in exchange for Dutch defender. The former Southampton centre-back played down the talks that this is going to be their year in the league. “I’m not gonna say that [it feels like Liverpool’s year],” he said, before adding: “It’s something for the media.
