Report: Former Real Madrid manager could become Armenia national team head coach

Reports suggest that former Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari could become Armenia national team manager.

Earlier today it was revealed that the Armenian Football Federation and Armenia head coach Abraham Khashmanyan have come to a mutual agreement to terminate the contract.

According to ArmSport, FFA are negotiating with Armenian and foreign specialists and the name of the former Real Madrid manager is among the most likely candidates on the list.

In addition, famous Spanish football coach Ginés Meléndez is Armenia Football Federation’s technical director and that could give the national team a chance in their pursuit of Solari as a head coach.
