Jurgen Klopp offered lavished praise on Arsenal youngster Gabriel Martinelli after the Reds progressed to the EFL Cup final on Thursday night. Diogo Jota scored both goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side as Trent Alexander-Arnold provided assists for both goals. After the game Klopp decided to praise Arsenal forward Martinelli, who has enjoyed a positive campaign. The Reds boss said:

"Martinelli by the way... everybody should remember that name. Outstanding player."
