Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has told the club that he will leave unless they give him a new and upgraded contact, according to
reports in Spain.
The Forward has reportedly made it clear to Florentino Perez that if his contract is not bettered, he will move in the summer.
Benzema’s goal for Real Madrid last night was his 60th in the Champions League, which sees him draw level with Ruud van Nistelrooy on the all-time scorer's list in the continental competition.
The French forward, a four-time winner of the Champions League with Real, is now behind only Raul (71), Lionel Messi (106) and Cristiano Ronaldo (122).
Benzema has made 450 appearances for the La Liga giants and has scored 211 goals, providing 120 assists.
