Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton are reportedly targeting Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.
According to Marca, these Premier League clubs are interested in the 28-year-old who has fallen out of favour with Zinedine Zidane.
The English version of Marca claims that the Toffees are James’ most preferred option given the presence of Carlo Ancelotti, who brought the best out of the Columbian during their time at Madrid and who wanted to take him to Napoli previous season.
Sport Witness, via Marca, report that the midfielder’s agent Jorge Mendes could even ‘press’ his client into moving to Molineux.
They add that Wolves have ‘powerful arguments’ to persuade him to come – as evidenced by several high profile players joining Nuno Espirito Santo’s revolution in the last couple of seasons.
James has netted just once and provided two assists in 13 games this term for Los Blancos and has only one year left on his contract at Santiago Bernabeu.
