Real Madrid president mocks Jurgen Klopp over Liverpool's Champions League exit

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has mocked Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool boss claimed their quarter-final first leg of the Champions League was not held at a "proper stadium". After the club's first leg against Los Blancos, the German coach said to the media: "It must be a really tricky task for Real Madrid at Anfield. "This was strange tonight because it was really difficult with the stadium [at Madrid’s training ground] but Anfield is at least a proper stadium and it will be good for us." And in an interview with Spanish radio show El Larguero on Wednesday, Perez hit back at Klopp's comments, saying that the result was the same as in the Champions League final in 2018. "I don’t know why he doesn’t like it," he said. "For us, Valdebebas and Kiev is the same… 3-1. It’s the same pitch."
