Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has provided an update on Eden Hazard ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg clash with Chelsea on Tuesday.

Hazard, who joined La Liga side in 2019, has been suffering from several injuries. During this season he has made overall 15 appearances in which he has scored 3 goals. The 30-year-old made his return from muscle injury on Saturday when Madrid faced Real Betis.

“I don’t see Eden having any doubts,” Zidane said. “He looked very good on the field the other day.

“That was the important thing, not feeling any of his old problems. Now he is good, and now to push on.

“We are happy to have him with us, he will bring a lot to the team.”
