Real Madrid decided the future of Mateo Kovacic. Chelsea considering Andreas Christensen swap

Real Madrid are planning to offload Mateo Kovacic on a permanent basis during the January transfer window, as they no longer see midfielder’s long-term future at the Bernabeu, according to AS Kovacic is currently on a season-long loan at Chelsea and has made 17 appearances in all competitions. Meanwhile, Chelsea are considering a swap deal with Napoli which would see Andreas Christensen join the Serie A club in exchange for Elseid Hysaj moving in the opposite direction, according to Calciomercato. Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has previously managed the full-back at Empoli and Napoli.
