Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich did not express any interest in signing of Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Russian media publication RBC.
RBC sent inquiries to Chelsea and the representative of Abramovich. The source close to the Russian businessman has revealed, that Abramovich did not contact either Ronaldo or his agent, Jorge Mendes, regarding a possible transfer for the Portuguese star.
Meanwhile, Juventus source confirmed that the club did not receive a transfer offer or “other documents” confirming the interest of the Premier League club.
On Monday, Chelsea have been linked with a sensational summer move for Ronaldo. Don Balon, Give Me Sports and Marca have reported, that the Blues are prepared to spend €120 million to secure the forward’s signature.
Ronaldo arrived at Juventus in 2018 from Real Madrid.
