Roman Abramovich personally contacts Kai Havertz and has a plan to fund the deal

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has personally contacted Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz regarding making the summer switch to the Blues, according to Sport Buzzer. The same report suggests, that Abramovich plans to fund the £90m transfer fee by selling both N'Golo Kante and Jorginho. Playmaker Hakim Ziyech has already been acquired from Ajax for an initial €40million (£35.8m) fee while RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner has agreed a five-year contract. Chelsea are looking to further strengthen Frank Lampard's attacking options and have set their sights on Havertz.
