RB Leipzig make new Timo Werner transfer declaration after star's social media move

RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche insists they have not received any approaches for Timo Werner. The Germany international has been linked with the move to a number of clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid. The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the striker. Yet, last month the player himself has shared his admiration towards the English club, saying: "Liverpool are the best team in the world at the moment, and when you’re linked with that team it makes me very proud. It’s a pleasure, but I know Liverpool play a lot of good players and I have to improve myself and to learn much more things to get on this level to play there." Werner has also unfollowed his current club on Twitter after they used the image of him to react to Liverpool's 3 - 0 defeat to Watford. However, Krosche has stated there aren't many things that favour the player leaving the club. He told Bild: "There has been nothing at all. But it's normal that Timo gets into the focus of other clubs. He's playing a very, very good season and scores very, very often. Timo has a long-term contract and there are not many things that favour him leaving us. We play Champions League, we have a super coaching team and we still want to achieve a lot."
