Rangers new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst sends a message to Steven Gerrard

  Steven Gerrard was appointed as Aston Villa coach on November 11. Following his departure from Rangers, the Gers appointed Giovanni van Bronckhorst as their new head coach. Van Bronckhorst gave his first press conference on Monday as the new manager of the Scottish Premiership side. During the press conference, he sent a message to Gerrard. "Steven (Gerrard) sent me a message. I really appreciate that and I wish him all the best for the future," said Gio van Bronckhorst.

    Steven Gerrard celebrated his first victory with Aston Villa as they celebrated a 2-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Gers suffered a 3-1 defeat to Hibernian on Sunday.
