Raheem Sterling reveals two Manchester City players that have replaced Vincent Kompany in the dressing room

Raheem Sterling has claimed Manchester City have coped with the loss of Vincent Kompany and David Silva in the dressing room and named Ruben Dias and Kevin De Bruyne as players who have stepped into those roles. Two of City's greatest ever players have left the Etihad Stadium in the last two summers, with Silva moving to Real Sociedad after 10 years in England, whilst Kompany joined Anderlecht as player-manager. However, Sterling has insisted that City, although now a younger squad, remain vocal in the dressing room and pointed to summer signing Dias and De Bruyne, as two players that have stepped into the breach. "They're two players that played at the highest level for many years, they were here for so many years," Sterling told Micah Richards on BBC Radio 5 Live. "They were big characters in the dressing room, players that had won it, been there, done it. You look at the squad and it is a young team but you look at Ruben (Dias) who has come in, he speaks as much as Vinny (Vincent Kompany). "He's a massive character. We haven't lost a voice in the dressing room, new people are stepping up to the plate. People like Kev (Kevin de Bruyne), he's the second captain and very vocal now. Fernandinho too. "There has been a miss with Vinny because when he's there, I'm telling you, you know there's a match kicking off in 30 seconds. We've adjusted well."
