Press conference: Jurgen Klopp on injuries, Manchester United, transfer plans and more

Liverpool are set to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. Reds, who are currently sitting in 6th place in the league table, will be hoping to finish the season in the top four of England's top tier in order to secure their place in next term's Champions League. Ahead of the upcoming clash, the club boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken to the media. On injuries:
"No updates. All the same in this moment."
On Van Dijk:
"I don't have enough English words to say the same thing that often. Yes he is running like Hendo, Joe and Joel. Rehab always starts with straight line running. Lots of things to come, a lot of steps before finally ready to join team training."
On the upcoming clash:
"It will be a tough game, intense. We saw last night Man Utd and they are good! Especially when you let them play. They were flying. I am pretty sure United still feel they have a chance [for the title]. Both teams have to win it which is a good recipe for the game."
On how important to win at United for the first time as Liverpool manager:
"More than 100%. Without winning games we have no chance of having European football."
On Manchester United:
"When you play Thurs/Sun Man Utd got used to it but it doesn't make it better. It's a tough challenge for them. Today is recovery, tomorrow 2nd recovery and then they play. No chance to change things but I don't think they want to really at the moment."
On potential transfers for summer:
"Playing CL obviously massive from financial POV. It's not good if we can't make it, definitely not. It won't change anything because it is always difficult."
On missed chances:
"We work on [confidence] and then it is another game and we lose it again because chances missed. We don't score often enough but we create a decent number so that is what we keep doing. We don't shout at the boys, it's just about the right info."
On social media boycott:
"The world of a football player is pretty public. Ask players from past what life they had around games, that has all disappeared. It doesn't happen any more, one of the reasons is social media. I support all the clubs (in the boycott). Things need to change."
