Manchester United handed major injury blow ahead of Liverpool clash

Manchester United will reportedly be without Anthony Martial when they welcome Liverpool on Sunday. The French forward will only return on the 3rd of May which is the day following the game against the Reds but Manchester Evening News claims it’s much direr than that. There’s no confirmation on whether or not the injury will rule Martial out of the Euros but given it’s a ruptured knee ligament, there will be a great deal of concern from the France FA regarding his fitness. From Liverpool Nathaniel Phillips is also expected to miss the game which means it’s even more fortunate that a forward like the Manchester United no.9 will be absent.
