Press conference: Jurgen Klopp on Henderson, team news, Chelsea

Liverpool are preparing to face Chelsea in an away FA Cup 5th round game on Tuesday, March 3rd. Ahead of the game, the Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp has given a press conference, where he spoke on Jordan Henderson, team news, Chelsea and more. On Critchley exit: "Congratulation to Blackpool and to Neil! It's a great thing, a nice opportunity and challenge for him. He wanted to take it, he asked and we said 'yes of course'. It shows it's possible you can make your way as a youth coach. "We want to have the best people in every department including coaching, and we have requests from other clubs. Hopefully everything will go well for him." On youngsters playing in FA Cup: "The defeat (to Watford) has nothing to do with tomorrow night. We have no clue what Chelsea are doing so why should Chelsea know what we are doing?  "We always play the team we feel can win the game (in the Cup)." On Henderson: "Jordan and Milly were in the dressing room (at Watford). I love that Hendo is getting recognition now in his absence, but his absence and Milly was not the reason we lost. We didn't deliver. We're not blind, we saw that." Team news: "No new injury problems. Milly is back, Joe too. The others, no." On losing: "Could we have done better? Of course. Something went wrong and we have the chance to react. Everyone is fighting for everything. It’s the situation now. It’s over, now we can focus on football. It didn’t distract us but no-one can tell us about how to deal with this. There was always going to be a moment when this could happen, now it happen." On Chelsea: " We never really think about lesser pressure (in the FA Cup). We are Liverpool, we are under pressure. Everybody expects us to win at Chelsea and that's always difficult. They will field a very experienced team. Pedro, Giroud and Willian is a nice second team! "There is no favourite in this game. If there is, it’s Chelsea because they’re at home." On FA Cup: "It was intense. That affects it but not the result. We don’t want to lose football games. It’s very important. It’s the most important game as it’s the only one we have. We have to win if we want to go through, you have one chance. It won’t be easy. Two big teams play each other, it’ll be interested." On Lampard: "Super job from what I can see. I like the project a lot. Having that amount of sensational young players is nice. To fight for the CL places that means you have to beat three or four teams with similar possibilities and circumstances. That's not so easy." On Oxlade-Chamberlain: "Oxlade replaced Hendo. He is a super play. Tell me one player on Saturday night who played his normal level? I'd be really surprised if there were any." On Harvey Elliott: "Harvey Elliott has gone with the U19s (for the UEFA Youth League game v Benfica tomorrow afternoon), Neco Williams and Ki-Jana Hoever not. Harvey had a little problem with his back Friday, but is good again and can play. Curtis Jones also with first team." source - LiverpoolECHO
