Premier League: Manchester City beat Burnley to keep their place at the top


Manchester City beat Burnley with a 2-0 score in their Premier League game, to keep their place at the top of the table. Gabriel Jesus has scored the first goal of the game, in the third minute. It was the Brazilian's fourth goal of the season in 13 games. Jesus has now scored 68 goals in his 107 starts for Manchester City in all competitions. Moreover, he has never lost a Premier League game when he scored. It was 35th victorious game, as just two games ended with a draw.         Raheem Sterling, meanwhile, has found the net in the 38th minute after an assist from Ilkay Gundogan. It was Sterling's seventh goal of the Premier League season. While Gundogan has now been directly involved in eight league goals this season. The England international is now Manchester City's top goalscorer of the current season with 10 goals in all competitions.         Manchester City are topping the table 47 points, three points more than second-placed Manchester United, with a game in hand.
