Arsenal’s initial £15million offer for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney was turned down by the Scottish Premiership champions and the Gunners are expected to come back with an improved offer.
However, the Gunners remain confident of securing the signing of the player and are prepared to allow Celtic pick some of their youth players, footballondon claims.
Tierney, who has made 12 appearances for Scotland, is contracted to Celtic until the summer of 2023.
One of those players to be offered to Celtic is Carl Jenkinson, who has been the fringes of the squad at the Emirates Stadium for several years. However, should Celtic opt against a permanent deal for Jenkinson Arsenal would be prepared to offer them one of several leading lights from their academy such as Jordi Osei-Tutu and Emile Smith Rowe.
If Celtic want Eddie Nketiah Arsenal will consider loaning the young striker to the Scottish champions though they would then need to find a third-choice striker to ease the burden on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
