Piers Morgan slams Novak Djokovic after pregnant woman contracts coronavirus at Adria Tour

Novak Djokovic has come under intense criticism for hosting a tennis tournament during a global pandemic. The exhibition event had to be abandoned on Saturday after four players tested positive for COVID-19. To make matters worse a pregnant woman - which is classed as a vulnerable person - also tested positive for the virus. Djokovic ignored social distancing guidelines as he competed in a well-attended tournament across Southeastern Europe. Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric, Viktor Troicki, Djokovic and his wife Jelena contracted coronavirus. Good Morning Britain host Morgan slammed Djokovic for putting on the tournament. "One of the infected people is the pregnant wife of his close friend – the Serbian player – Viktor Troicki," Morgan fumed on the ITV breakfast show. "I mean to have caused a situation where one of your best friend's wives is pregnant and gets infected with the virus. It was so reckless.
