Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has claimed that Tottenham are still "building" as they get used to life under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Spurs beat Arsenal 1-0 in a pre-season friendly on Sunday with Son Heung-min marking his name on the scoresheet.
And after the match Hojbjerg discussed the performance and stated that Spurs do need to improve on their consistency every day and bring that forward a bit if they are to keep progressing.
"Let's stay on the right track, let's stay steady, let's stay realistic," the Dane told Spurs TV.
"I've said it before that the talent in this team is incredible. We've got to change a little bit maybe the way of bringing that mentality and let's say the ability to be consistent every single day in our behaviour. I think we have to bring that forward a bit more.
"I think today we put in a good fight, saw some good play, we were well organised and again we were very excited to try to give back for the great support.
"We are building, we are trying to improve every single day. Today again, let's say, was a piece of what we have tried to be training on.
"Of course there will be more and we will be better and we will be stronger, but so far not bad."
