Philippe Coutinho sends Liverpool a Champions League warning

Philippe Coutinho hopes Bayern Munich can overcome Liverpool in Europe because he'd love to win the Champions League. The Brazilian midfielder left Liverpool back in January 2018 to complete a dream move to Barcelona getting £142million for the transfer. 18 months later he found himself out of favour at the Catalan club and joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan deal during this summer transfer window. In the season when Coutinho left, Liverpool reached the final of the Champions League but lost it to Real Madrid. Year later, the Reds reached the final once again and this time they became champions. Speaking to SportBild via Sport Witness, Coutinho said: "I hope so. My dream is to win the championship, the DFB-Pokal and the Champions League. No matter who we play against. I just want to help the team." via Mirror.
