Pep Guardiola reveals two Manchester City players will return after international break

Manchester City are set to face Liverpool on Sunday, as the Premier League action resumes. Ahead of the match head coach Pep Guardiola has talked to the press and was asked about the latest injury updates. Recently City endured quite a period of injury crisis with John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Aymeric Laporte, Oleksandr Gundogan and Rodri all injured. However, Laporte, Rodri and Stones have returned from recovery, while Zinchenko and Gundogan are still ruled out. In his pre-match press conference, Guardiola said:
"Everyone is fit except Zinchenko and Gundogan. We expect both after international break, hopefully."
Cityzens boss also revealed why he is so happy and satisfied:
"The way we played last two games, makes me so satisfied what we have done. Of course I'm incredibly happy when we won the PL but this kind of period, when Kevin De Bruyne training just two weeks, and Phil Foden just two weeks, important players injured, we come back so late.   "After how we overcome some situations in that period The level of consistency and way we played is so good. That's why I'm happier than ever because I know how difficult. It's not compare to the past, in the past we have done unbelievable.   "Always will remain in our hearts. You have to try and do it again and know exactly where it comes from. Like we have done last season, almost impossible to do it better. Still we have many details but still we are there after six years together.   "That's why I'm so proud to my players, always I say to them, I cannot words to express my gratitude the way we played these two games."
