Manchester City are set to return to action as the Premier League action resumes after the international break.
The Blues are set to face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium and ahead of the match head coach Pep Guardiola has talked to the press.
City boss was asked about Sergio Aguero’s departure and how they can replace him, to which he replied:
“A lot. We know how important he is in the present and the past. So a lot. These decisions are never easy.
“I want to be clear, there is maybe maybe we find a player to replace Sergio. Like I said In terms of numbers it is almost impossible but it is possible he can be replaced, but in terms of what he means for this club it’s impossible. So maybe, but there are a lot a lot a lot of big big chances we maybe don’t sign a striker for the next season.
” We have enough players in the first team right now and we have interesting players in the academy, there is a big chance for the situation with economic problems in world football we’re not going to sign a striker for next season.”
Aguero is now linked with a move to Chelsea, as the Daily Mail reported.
